Regrets. Sadly we all have them.
Whether it’s getting into debt, buying ‘that’ car or thinking money is all you need. Maybe it’s things you have said or not said, maybe it’s not spending time with family or friends and regretting it later when you no longer have the chance.
Perhaps you regret your lacklustre attitude to worship, or listening to man’s opinions and not God’s truth. Or listening to Satan’s lies about your self-worth. Or there’s regretting constantly missing out on your time with God but never missing your favourite TV show.
There’s always regretting the battles you fight day after day, be it pornography, sex or gambling. And then there’s always the biggy-regretting the person you have become!
Whether 2011 has been a year full of regrets or not remember you are not confined to your past. Your are not defined by your bondage. You are not alone in your struggles.
Your regrets can become God’s burden, freeing you to live with peace and joy, you were made to be free!
Romans 8 in the Bible says this…
31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
